We’ve mentioned our upcoming trade show in a few posts—and can’t believe it’s almost here! This Saturday, we will be at the Red Rooster in New Braunfels, Texas with 15 or so other vendors. This past weekend, we spent lots of time organizing and planning the final details. We’ve collected some fabulous pieces and our projects are ready to meet some great new people! Today, we’d like to share a preview of some of our finds. These photos show snippets of our vintage kitchen collection. On Wednesday, we will be posting the full photos with descriptions. For now, can you guess what any of these items are?

Embellishing lamp shades is a simple and thrifty way to spruce up any room. We’ve seen shades with a variety of frill– from lace to feathers. Last year, Ingrid took her plain bedroom lamp shades and wrapped them in twine to create a whole new look. The simplicity of this project is perfect for a three step Thursday! Inspired by our vintage thrift store lamp, we added inexpensive flowers to this simple square shade.
1. Take any simple lamp shade and find the perfect accessories
2. Use hot glue to adhere the embellishments to your shade
3. Put the lamp together and enjoy your new creation!
